1.
Where'd your love go this summer? what happened to your child? Gave you some kind of poison until the life inside expired Darkened pines line the way down unspoken crimes away from prying eyes With your eyes so blue with your arms to hold Where do birds flee in winter? the season just turns and they realign We were gripped in icy fingers we hadn't noticed the dance had died Darkened pines line the way down unspoken crimes away from prying eyes With my pride so bruised with your mind that knows With your pride so bruised with my mind that knows
2.
Humans 04:35
Humans collide create an awful mess Humans divide between themselves and everything else But ignore all of that and they're alright Humans are unkind to themselves can't forgive themselves Humans devise the strangest notions from first impressions But ignore all of that and they're alright All alright be alright Humans collide create an awful mess
3.
Foresight 04:34
Cast a light on foresight on foresight Bring to bear on the dark on dark Cast an eye on foresight on foresight Bring to bed your bride your wife Who can mend? broken pictures broken sisters rally round Make amends tongue tied assistant over tired resistance rally round Cast a line on forethought on forethought Bring the frame back to mind back to mind Captured mind on forethought on forethought Bring the shame into sight into sight Who can mend? broken pictures broken sisters rally round Make amends tongue tied assistant over tired resistance rally round Who can mend? broken pictures broken sisters Rally round rally round rally round rally round
4.
The Wake 04:25
The wake is set all arise and be present Did you bring all that you can't leave behind The wake is set all arrived to pay respects Did you bring all that you can't leave behind
5.
Seneca 06:05
We're old not yet old enough unregarded the shadows lengthen See them rise and see them fall everything unerringly turns to it's end A man reckons the worth of each day who understands he's dying daily Our endless numbered days cast aside as if at play Seneca they ran you a too short bath and put to the test your theories A man reckons the worth of each day who understands he's dying daily

about

ROSH is proud to announce the release of his debut record, the See Them Rise EP. A suite of songs written over the course of a trip to visit his family in India, See Them Rise is an intimate and warm folk record which is also a compassionate portrait of fragile and fallible humanity.
BBC Introducing have called it ‘beautiful stuff… warm folk music’ and he has already been awarded by the PRS Open Fund for Music Creators, designed to ‘enable the UK’s most talented music creators to realise their potential’.

Conceived during a ‘quarter-life crisis’, when he spent months living with his family in India with just enough of the language to get by and his guitar to keep him company, the record is a reflection on the irrepressible passage of time, the courage it takes to face your own mortality and the nobilities and cruelties people visit on each other.

ROSH says, ‘after writing, recording and gigging in bands for a few years, I was lucky enough to go travelling and have time by myself to create when I lived with my family in India for several months. It let me crystallize a lot of thoughts and conflict I was having at the time - about getting older and about people I’d lost - into song and I found that the songs just kept coming. It’s a record that I think is sonically and thematically coherent, and encapsulates that time in my life when isolation and mortality compelled me to write these songs’.
